I like magic

Last Sunday, I went to the carnival in Victoria Park. We saw a magician. The magician played lots of magic tricks using poker cards. He got the cards from many different places, sometimes from my ears, sometimes from his mouth, and sometimes from his hands. I was thrilled because I like magic tricks so much. When I was a magician, I would bring lots of yummy food to all the children in the world by using magic tricks.

What is it?

It is such a good place that we like it most of all.

This place is more beautiful than any other place.

There is fresh air which is so sweet.

You can find a sofa, table, chair, and book shelf in there.

You can eat vegetables, meat, fish and rice in there too.

You can also play chess, Mastermind, toy cars and Thomas the tank engine in there.

If you don’t have it, you will be very sad.

This is very important to everyone.

Mummy, daddy, sister, and brother all live there.

This is the best place of all.

Fishing

Once upon a time, I was fishing in Anna Lake. I caught a big fish. This was the first fish I ever caught. I took it back home and shared it with my family. I found a smaller fish in the fish’s tummy. Then, I found another fish in the smaller fish’s tummy… Eventually, I found six fish in total. I invited my grandfather, grandmother, aunt and uncle to join our party. We ate fish and rice. We ate a lot and played games after dinner. After the games, we went for a walk. I suggested to fish again for the next party. Everyone agreed!

Everyone likes to do sport because sports are very good. Some people do exercise at 6 o’ clock early in the morning. At night people will do sports too. They just need to turn on the light. You need to warm up before you do a sport, so that your muscles will not get hurt easily. After doing exercise, you need to walk and warm down. Badminton will make you grow taller because you do lots of stretching. Football will make your legs strong because you need to kick. Running is a good sport because you will sweat a lot. Ping pong is my favourite sport. It is so much fun! Which sport do you like?

Wind

Wind is very important. If there is no wind on the earth, then we can’t breathe. Wind can also come into our house through the windows. The wind blows very softly at night when it is time to rest. Sometimes the wind blows very strongly when it is very angry. If there is a typhoon, the car will go shake, shake, shake! On a very hot day, you may see a tornado. Everything is sucked inside it. Sometimes we can see a sea tornado. All the fish will have a flying party! My only question is “Where does the wind come from?”

Far away and down near the horizon, the sun begins to disappear.

The birds fly back to their nests.

The people park their cars in the car parks.

The mums and dads tell their kids to go home.

The night time security staff starts to work.

The birds’ songs stop.

The sea goes silent.

It is dinner time.

Everyone turns on the light.

The sky is already black.

Good Helper

Once upon a time, there was a tiger. He was hungry. He hunted animals to eat. It was summer and very hot. He was very ill and needed animals to help him. None of the animals wanted to help because they thought they might be eaten by the tiger. A white rhinoceros wanted to help. He told the tiger to climb onto his back. The tiger climbed onto his back and the white rhinoceros made a promise to him. The promise was that after the white rhinoceros had taken him to the vet, the white rhinoceros would hunt food for him. The white rhinoceros hunted for food for the tiger for two months. The food was grass. Two months later, the tiger loved to eat grass. He didn't eat animals anymore. Finally, the tiger had a good friend who was the white rhinoceros.
